First of all, what a success! Over 1,200 people voted. Over 3,000 visited the website. Over 200,000 page hits. That's you.

You don't even have to take my word for it; take the word of the decidedly partisan crowd watching "our misleader," stutter and stammer through answers - seemingly trying to cover up his lies of the past. What a tangled web we weave...

<>Yes, lies. Maybe Senator Kerry can't say it, but I will... <>I have been saying it, lies, while I organized peace protests against this President over 20 times in the past 3 years.

And I will say it from the well of the United States Congress.

When Senator Kerry voted to authorize force, he voted to give the President a loaded gun - not to shoot ourselves in the foot with it.

Look, the war in Iraq was a mistake. That's it. Dangerous Saddam, WMD, sanctuary for terrorists, word of a madman...

The President can say what he wants about this, but facts remain

He is out of touch.

He is a failure on all counts (where do you want me to start)

He lied to the American people about the reasons for war with Iraq.

We need him gone.

And we need those that vote with him 96% of the time, like my opponent gone as well.

So tonight, with one hour to go before the FEC deadline:

We need to support John Kerry

And if you don't mind me saying, we need to support anti-war candidates willing to stand up for the people, like me.

Your support has made this campaign. For the first time in over a decade my opponent has radio ads, television ads, started a website, come home early from conventions to campaign -

That is your doing. You are the reason why he can't keep giving money to people like Katherine Harris (and he has). You are the reason he can't travel the country raising money for those that perpetuate hate (on civil rights and around the globe). And you are the reason the halls of Congress will have another Representative willing to listen and interact with the backbone of this country, the people.

Contribution Deadline Draws Near...

I am going to keep it simple and to the point. While this race has been about so much more than raising money, the unfortunate fact remains that money is a necessity. In a perfect world, an election would be about debates, the issues, and how a Representative would actually represent their district.

We all know Congress is far from perfect.

Disclaimer: If you contribute, this campaign can't promise your corporation a huge tax break for moving jobs overseas. But we can offer the prospect that this country will have another Representative in Congress that understands, firsthand, the concerns of the middle class.

So, I have to ask you to help us again - and help as much as you can between now Thursday night at 11:59 PM. Please visit the website and contribute what you can to the effort.

Paper's Readers Blast Regula For Not Debating

I had nothing to do with these readers writing into our local paper, The Canton Repository. All of these were done on their own and account for every comment on the article printed about our debate challenge to Representative Regula.

Long story short: He won't debate Jeff

So, take a look. And realize that we can make this thing happen with the proper amount of contacts and contributions.

Comment: What is Mr. Regula afraid of? That people might see what a real candidate can do. How many times has Mr. Regula ran unopposed for his office. For 32 years he has had it pretty easy. Now he has competition. He has done nothing while insurance companies have taken over many aspects of our lives. He has done nothing while his illustious leader had made incentives for big business to move our jobs out of the country. The only thing Mr. Regula has worked for is his advancement in the political arena. It is time for change. It is time for a real candidate.

Comment: I encourage everyone interested in this campaign to SHOW UP at a Candidate's Night to talk to Jeff Seemann. After experiencing "Candidate's Night" several times in Alliance I realize that very few voters show up at these events but it's worth it! One such Candidate's Night is on October 19 at the Alliance Senior Center on Vine Street and is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Alliance Area.

I know Jeff Seemann is a new face -- but I believe that we need new ideas in Washington D.C. Jeff has lots of energy, a fresh outlook and new ideas to tackle the new issues facing us in the 21st Century!! VOTE FOR SEEMANN!!

With all the blogging that we do at Jeff Seemann for Congress, it is probably time that we started our own blog. So, this is the place to come for daily updates on our Congressional campaign's attempts to sink 32 year incumbent Ralph Regula and do what we can to help John Kerry carry the day in the country's "political epicenter."

I haven't always believed in "signs," but when one of our supporters sent us this picture, it just added to the evidence that we are going to make history on November 2nd.

I can't wait to share more updates with you on the status of the campaign, progress we are making, and our plans for the future.
